Procedure

Artist retains all image rights to artwork

How to commission a portrait for your pet:

Go to the CONTACT link on this web-site to express your interest or make any inquiries. (Most of the entire process will take place via e-mail correspondence.)

Click HERE for a PRICE LIST with sizing options that will serve as a guideline for your painting.

An estimated completion date will be established based on artist's availability.

Please note that the painting process will take 4-6 weeks in general and commissions are accepted on a first come- first served basis.

You will need to provide multiple high resolution images of you pet and share a bit about their special personality.

The artist will then work with you on reaching a concept that is unique to your pet.

Once the commission is agreed upon you will have a contract to sign designed to clarify all expectations from both parties. At this point a non-refundable payment of 50% of the price will be due before the commission will commence.

Expect 3 "check ins" during the commission: *

  • The first step in the painting process is the initial sketch to be approved before painting begins.
  • Once the painting is under way, the artist will contact you again to show progress and make sure you are pleased with how everything is looking.
  • When the piece is completed you will be shown a photo of the painting for your final approval.

Once the final piece has been approved, the remaining 50% of the price will be due along with any shipping/ packaging cost.

Then, your very special pet portrait will be ready to honor your very special pet!
